Approaching tight corners at high speeds on slippery roads can be a challenge, being able to perform a pendulum turn will give you another option to avoid understeer and create oversteer. Being able to execute quality pendulum turns is also simply a great exercise for building car control, and is a good trick to have in your back pocket for when things go wrong.
